This attractive natural rough stone surfaced NunnaUuni fireplace was designed for a holiday home amidst the archipelago landscape of the former military island of Rankki in Kotka, Finland. The idea, along with eco-friendliness and self-sustainability, was to bring the surrounding rugged archipelago landscape into the house’s decor. The fireplace with baking oven covers the entire wall and appears to rise straight out of the rocky shelf. The item was introduced on the Design by Lauri TV programme.

This brilliant NunnaUuni custom fireplace was designed collaboratively for interior designer Milla Alftan’s countryside home. The result was a unique fireplace with baking oven, combining the traditional aspects of a fireplace with modern sensibilities.
Through the Design by Lauri programme, this gorgeous black fireplace found its home in a beautiful second home in Mäntyharju.
The gorgeous fireplace in the image was installed in a beautiful second home in Mäntyharju through the Finnish Design by Lauri programme. The soapstone surface of the fireplace has been darkened. While basking in the cosy warmth of a genuine soapstone fireplace, you have an opportunity to admire both the hearth and the picturesque landscape.
This NunnaUuni Solo fireplace with baking oven, chosen for a seaside residence, has been tailored according to the customer’s wishes. The soapstone corners and white art glass surface of the fireplace with baking oven brilliantly complement the surrounding decor.
This custom-made dark NunnaUuni fireplace with baking oven has been surfaced with Ceramic tiles, according to the customer’s wishes. The inside of the fireplace, fire chamber included, is made entirely of genuine Mammutti soapstone.

This heat-storing soapstone fireplace has been fully covered with white decorative glass, according to the customer’s wishes. With just two hours of heating, it’s warm heart shares its warmth for up to two days.

The basic model of the custom fireplace in the image is the atmospheric (two-sided) Joya, whose bottom has been surfaced with white glass. The fireplace serves as a beautiful space divider in the modern home, and the fire’s light gets to shine in both the living room and the kitchen. The warmth of a heat-storing fireplace is an excellent fit for a low-energy house, as the heat radiates from the fireplace steadily, for a long period of time, with just the right intensity.

The fireplace was built according to the customer’s wishes, from massive blocks in the Finnish national landscape of Koli and the lovely waterfront of Pielinen. The liveliness of the block surface inspired the owners to name the fireplace the Pielinen Waves.

The two-sided Hestia Solo fireplace with baking oven performs well in both the kitchen and the living room. On the kitchen side is a baking oven for cooking delicious meals. In the living room, you can admire the beauty of the hearth.

The custom-manufactured fireplace has been designed with the gorgeous Koli vistas in mind, just as the customer wished. The front tiling of the fireplace also make use of the natural rough surface of soapstone in a rather imaginative way.

The design of the Calor Rondo fireplace brings a fresh, playful look to the fireplace market. The circular placement of the soapstone diverges from traditional solutions. The appearance of the fireplace is lightened by an accent colour peeking out from between the stones.

The Solo fireplace with baking oven, custom-made to the customer’s specifications, is the real crown jewel of the home. The gentle heat of the Solo baking oven is well suited for simmering and cooking food. The oven is easily heated with the warmth of the fireplace.
